Looking for images of buffalos (also called bison) either dramatic portraits or shots of a bison skull for a book on the history of the West.
The image could be either of a buffalo head or a buffalo skull. It's for a book about the history of the west and frontier days on the Canadian prairies so a natural setting or a shot with vintage colouring would work well. Could be dramatic portraits of buffalo faces, showing their majesty and strength or a close up of a buffalo skull in a natural setting
A studio shot of a skull would be fine as long as the lighting is dramatic and not scientific-looking. Shots of buffalo should be in a natural setting, on the prairie.
Artistic filters or lighting is encouraged: think vintage, historic and warm. The image should be lush, with warm colours and feel very Western North American.
At this point I'd prefer to have only one buffalo in the shot, however if you have an amazing image of a herd or group of buffalos (or buffalo skulls) I would consider it.
