Educated at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fl., opened my mind in many ways, including my limited exposure to art. Ringling teaches Contemporary Art, and i have a newfound appreciatiin fir Contemporary and Post-Modern art thanks to the Dada movement. ove always loved illusions and alleghories. my work reflects this. i struggled to get past my earlier high school lessons in commercial art. other gifts i have (spelling and photigraphy) made me my junior high yearbook editor, cover artist, and photographer. But in college, i had to kearn to not be too representational, which, once conquored, led me to greater and better things. my work simetimes has an unbridled energy, at other times, theres a zen quality to it. As a third generation artist, i am always in search if subject matter, new concepts, and new materials ti create with. i am open to critique, becayse i see every faukure as nithing more than a stepping stone in my growth as an artist.
