My first camera I bought was in 1980 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It was a Pentax Me and I liked it very much. It is broken now, but I still can't part from it. Too many memories. In High school I also developed my photo's in the dark room. Those years were simple for an aspiring photographer and I sometimes miss these days. I could choose to use a 24 or 36 film role. No hassle with digital knobs and buttons. Just plain shooting. Like in the old West. These days everybody can shoot pictures. So as a photographer you have to distinguish yourself from the crowd. If you are starting photographer you will have to find your own USP ( unique selling point) and find out what the market wants. If you just want to make artistic pictures and give a hood if it sells or not, that's also fine. I am here to find out if this platform is for me or not. Time will tell.
